01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located in the heart of Brooklyn at 1312 Avenue J, Jerusalem II Pizza offers an authentic and comforting taste of classic New York-style pizza that feels like a warm nostalgic hug. This pizza restaurant is a true gem for those who appreciate a well-crafted slice and a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere.

Jerusalem II Pizza specializes in hearty, flavorful pies that pay homage to traditional recipes while adding their own delightful twists. Among their menu highlights, the Sicilian Pie stands out as a thick, square slice with a perfectly fluffy crust, balanced by tangy tomato sauce and just the right amount of melted cheese. For those seeking lighter or health-conscious options, the Whole Wheat Plain Pie offers the same delightful flavors crafted with whole wheat flour, ensuring a wholesome experience without compromising taste.

The restaurant also caters to diverse tastes with options like the Vegetable Pie, featuring a colorful medley of mixed peppers and onions, as well as pasta choices such as the creamy yet zesty Penne Ala Vodka with Marinara Sauce and satisfying Baked Ziti, both perfectly portioned and priced to please. To round out your meal, their cold drinks selection, including indulgent milkshakes like Cookies and Cream or classic Vanilla and Chocolate, adds a sweet finish to your dining experience.

The dining atmosphere at Jerusalem II Pizza is a charming throwback to the '90s pizza joints that many remember fondly. As customer Aaron Eliezer Pilchick notes, the curved benches, wall-mounted tables, and gently swirling ceiling fans set a cozy scene, creating an inviting ambiance that enhances the overall experience. This genuine, unpretentious vibe, free from modern glossiness, makes visiting feel like stepping into a beloved local storybook.

Customers consistently praise not only the food quality but also the attentive, friendly service. Monica W shares how her family was "all so impressed" with the lightness of the pizza and the perfect balance of sauce and cheese, making it a hit with both kids and adults alike. Wen Wen emphasizes the breadth of the menu, from soul-satisfying tomato and cheese pies to fresh vegetable offerings and standout dishes like Eggplant Parmigiana and mozzarella sticks. Jerome Cooper highlights the unbeatable value and friendly service, comparing Jerusalem II’s pizza favorably to the more famous—and pricier—options in Brooklyn.

Jerusalem II Pizza thrives as a family-friendly, community-centered spot, where each visit feels more like coming home than just grabbing a meal. Whether you’re craving a personal Mini Pie or a full Sicilian square to share, this pizzeria delivers warmth, flavor, and a slice of genuine Brooklyn spirit with every bite.

The pizza is great, well made, proper cheese consistency of soft and oozy without running away from your slice. I'm very happy that this place isn't modernized like many others. The '90s pizza store ambiance that we grew up with (curved big benches and tables mounted to the walls on one side and overhead lightly blowing ceiling fans) only adds, not subtracts, to this place.

My family just had their regular pizza, their stuffed crust and their ziti pizza and we are all so impressed!! The pizza is light and doesn't leave you feeling heavy. The sauce is perfection and the cheese is the exact right amount. All in all it was a big hit with the kids and the adults! I am looking forward to trying out more of their items. I highly recommend this spot and I wish the new management tons of luck! I will definitely be coming back more often

More than a cheeeeeey slice of pizza. They have huge selection from meals to desserts. A great neighborhood pizzeria and family friendly. Fresh vegetables and soups. Tomato and cheese pie just soul food. Eggplant parmigiana is my favorite and I got the best ever mozzarella sticks! The pizza men over there are accommodating. The dinning is bright with a lot of seats.

I even had a ce little bag as a gift from maybe the owner of the place I guess. I don't have nothing to complain about Jerusalem || Pizza. All the best

This place is random but actually has really good pizza. For almost half the price you can get a slice from here which is down the street from Brooklyn’s famous Di Fara and it’s basically the same. The service was more friendly in my opinion also.

This pizza store is better than ever! The redone interior is beautiful n the new pizza tastes better than ever! This store has incredible pizza for it's price n the fries are truly some of the best I've ever tasted. This place also has great hours for a Brooklyn pizza store. The store will be renamed "slice" soon n the new logo is beautiful!

Jerusalem II Pizza is fantastic! The pizza is super fresh, cheesy, with a perfect crispy crust — the Israeli-style pies and classic slices are loaded with flavor and hit the spot every time. Service is outstanding: fast, super friendly, and welcoming. The place is casual and simple, typical pizza shop vibe, but the food and staff make it a go-to. Highly recommend!

Good pizza ,they also sell food but I only had 2 slices of cheese pizza and a sprite it was delicious and if I am in the area I would come back again. Now hear this: I am sitting there eating my and the guy that cleans the tables comes and wipes the tables around, then stands there as I eat and am just having these strange thoughts ( yes am a black woman eating a Jewish pizza shop) he is of Spanish decent as I know there are at least 10 or more tables behind me so I figured let me get another slice and I put the other tray on top the thing he picks it up wipe it off and rather than take it back he moves but a little off and stands there another 2 or 3 minutes then goes away. Now this maybe nothing maybe he wanted to say hello maybe he wanted to take a few minutes to say hello to his family and it was just all my wild imagination as to be honest I do have one.
